For most of my career, I've worked in sales, leadership, and management. I've been fortunate to have success in those roles, leading teams, building businesses, and helping companies grow. Along the way I've also been a factory-certified boat mechanic, owned a hearth installation business where I personally installed more than 2,300 wood stoves, and spent years working directly in customers' homes.

As I approached 53, I found myself asking a simple question:

What kind of work actually makes me happy?

The answer surprised me because it wasn't another management position or another climb up the corporate ladder. I realized I missed working with my hands. I missed solving real problems for real people. I missed finishing a job, stepping back, and knowing I had genuinely made someone's home safer, healthier, and better than when I arrived.

Dirty Ducts Done Right was born from that realization.

This isn't about building the biggest company I can. It's about building one I'm proud of. A company where honesty matters, where customers know they're being treated fairly, and where every home is cared for as if it belonged to a friend or neighbor.

I believe there is something deeply satisfying about getting back to the basics: showing up when you say you will, doing quality work, charging a fair price, and leaving people better off than you found them.

That's the business I'm building.

If that eventually grows into something much bigger, that's wonderful. But no matter how large it becomes, I never want to lose the reason it started: helping people, taking pride in honest work, and earning trust one home at a time.
